Regular routes include runs to the NHS Blood Transfusion Centre in Barnsley, Sheffield Children’s Hospital, and local hospitals in Grimsby, Boston, and Scunthorpe. During winter, when LEBBS’ motorcycles are less suited to icy roads, Tim R steps up even further, ensuring the service continues uninterrupted.

Supporting the NHS and Beyond
LEBBS’ out-of-hours courier service is vital for the NHS in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. Tim R plays a key role in maintaining this support, particularly during the busy festive season. For example, the car will handle the transportation of “heel prick tests” for newborns, ensuring these critical samples reach Sheffield Children’s Hospital quickly and safely.

Beyond its operational duties, Tim R also shines as a public engagement vehicle. Its spacious design allows it to carry LEBBS’ full events kit—including gazebos and promotional materials—making it a star attraction at public awareness events. This dual purpose has inspired plans for a second car to serve the southern part of Lincolnshire.
