Care at home for a child you love
Bringing a child with complex medical needs home, or keeping them there safely, takes a team you can trust completely. This page is here to reassure you and show how we care for children and young people, so your child can be at home with your family.
We care for children with complex medical needs at home: children who need breathing support or a tracheostomy, feeding through a tube, help with seizures, or a mix of these. The care is led by our nurses, and the carers who look after your child are trained specifically to their needs.

A team who knows your child
What children and families tell us matters most is consistency: the same skilled people, a settled routine, and carers who understand your child and how they communicate. That is what we build the package around.
Every carer is carefully recruited, vetted, trained for your child’s specific needs and clinically supervised. You will have a named coordinator who knows the package, and a team who works closely with you and your child’s health team.
If you would like to talk it through, our care coordinators will explain what happens next and answer your questions honestly.
