Band 6 Physiotherapist
NLG Health are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist for a Hospital in Croydon to cover an ongoing booking until the end of August 2024, with an anticipated extension.

Main Duties
- To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence based principles within Critical Care and Medicine, Orthopaedics and Surgery and Care of the Elderly
- To work as an autonomous practitioner and to provide specialist assessments and treatments to clients, and maintain records in line with Trust and professional standards
- To work as an effective team member and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders including patients, family/carers and the MDT
- To provide leadership, training and education to junior staff, students and assistants, and to provide supervision and 121’s with junior staff and assistants
- To deputise for the clinical lead in the absence
- To be highly organised and be able to prioritise effectively and be able to work in a busy environment and under pressure
You will be a Physiotherapist, registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and have NHS Acute, Respiratory, ITU and Discharge experience. You must be confident with busy caseloads and be able to manage time effectively and comply with CQC regulation requirements. It is essential that you work within codes of practice and professional guidelines and be able to communicate health issues effectively and courageously.
You must currently be living in the UK, have effective communication skills, excellent attendance record as well as the ability to work under pressure. Additionally, it is essential that you have a minimum of 6 months previous work experience within acute healthcare setting with the ability to provide 2 professional references are essential.
